When it comes to technology and personal finances people like to feel like they are in the driver’s seat. We have grown accustomed to managing most of our daily lives online both for personal lives and business functions. So it’s no surprise that employees should want the same self-service technology at work that they get from their banks, cell provider and any other personal services. Businesses can seize on the opportunity to raise morale and employee satisfaction with self-service technology for business. Microsoft Dynamics GP helps you give your team tools like self-service reporting and collaboration. Now with GP’s added functionality of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 employee profile window, your people are able to access and manage records regarding their skills, knowledge and training levels.
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 is scheduled to be released by the end of the year and the employee profile window is just one of the many impressive improvements.
The new employee profile window in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 allows employees to view and/or update their personal information. This includes contact info, emergency contacts, dependents, even position history.
As an extension of the employee self service functionality, the employee profile window allows your team to maintain their knowledge and skills testing in the Employee Skills and Training window and view their Skills and Training History. Plus, workflow functionality is integrated so employees can submit changes and managers can approve changes from a Navigation List or from an email notification.
